Our connection methods are all wood on wood, so there isn’t any squeaking that typically accompanies many other manufacturers’ steel on steel methods.
Handmade
Our beds are handmade at our production facility in Pequot Lakes, MN. This means each bed is inherently unique. Made by our professional furniture makers, our beds are made by hand with methods that include screws, glue, and mortise-tenon joinery. And being handmade, each plank, timber, and log is inspected, sanded, and then used to construct the bed. We take no shortcuts in making our furniture. Instead of relying on machine manufacturing which removes most of the character, we celebrate the unique nature of our rustic wood furniture.
Sturdy and Supportive
We know the importance of having a sturdy, supportive, and quiet bed, and that’s why we take no shortcuts in making them. By combining these methods, we have found it creates a sturdy bed that is built to last and quiet enough to not interfere with sleep. For example, our cedar log beds are constructed using 15/16” inch diameter by 6-inch-long screws to connect the bed rails to the headboard and footboard. With beefy screws like that, each individual piece comes together to make a complete bed.
Diverse Styles
Our beds are available in several styles, some of which include Cedar Log Twig, Barnwood Americana, and Hickory Log Wagon Wheel. We offer a variety of staining options with most beds. And with a wide collection of Wooded River bedding, you can easily create a complete bed that matches your desired aesthetic!
Options
Aside from choosing from our assortment of collections and styles, we provide additional options with our beds. We know size preferences are important which is why we offer our beds in five standard sizes: single, double, queen, king, and California king. Aside from standard beds, we offer beds in different configurations like headboard only, platform beds (with and without underbed storage), and even bunk beds.
